PLANS ON THE ANVIL

The two Trusts managing the Temple at Nanganallur have several plans and programmes. These are part of the Trusts' five year plan. The implementation of these plans and programmes is done on a continuous basis. Devotees like you are welcome to participate actively in these plans and programmes through contributions in part or in full.

1.

Vedapatasala

2.5 million 60000
Vedas are the very essence of the Hindu way of life. The vedas, handed down from generation to generation, are to be preserved in their pristine form calls for an innovative approach. It is proposed to set up a special school for Vedaparayana under Learned Gurus with the students assured of a decent livelihood. Modern electronic instruments to render Vedas for the benefit of the students will be used to ensure correct pronunciation and intonation.
2. 10 million 240000
The Hindu faith is that cow is the sacred embodiment of spiritual force for evolution. In tune with this belief, a large Ghoparipalanasala is being planned  to provide succour to non-milch cows and to house milch cows for meeting the milk needs of the Temple.
3.
Gnanavapi
10 million 240000
With constraint on space, performing the religious rituals for the departed souls is becoming difficult. Also Purohits are not readily available to undertake this task. This project aims to remove this deficiency. Hinduism believe in the indestructibility of the soul. Therefore to do one's mite in furtherance of this faith is essential.
4.
Annadhanam Corpus
100 million 24,00,000
Annadhanam is regarded as the best among all dhanams. Perhaps it is only in hunger the essential unity of human needs is sharply felt. Further, Annadhanam helps to maintain the body and soul together for the soul to evolve. What better contribution can one make to satiate hunger?.
5.

Kalyanamandapam cum Music Auditorium

50 million 12,00,000
Marriage in Hindu custom is the unification of the souls as per karmic bondage and to provide birth for a waiting soul. It also makes economic sense for the Trust as regular revenues flow in for its activities. An auditorium avoids recurring expenditure when festivals / marriages are celebrated. Also the auditorium brings in regular income.

There are several other smaller projects and programmes being undertaken on a monthly basis. Details of these programmes would be announced under Current News/News Updates.
