Our Trust, which was initially started with the sole object of establishing a temple for Lord Anjaneya, has expanded its objectives by taking up the cause of propagation and promotion of hindu scriptures, traditions and culture. In this direction traditional music has been given utmost importance. Many institutions in Chennai are promoting music, some in very big way. Our Trust’s approach is very unique. The traditional music is identified with spiritualism.

Every year music concerts are being held for about 3 weeks. Musicians of all sorts are given opportunity to sing before the Lord and seek His Blessings. The concerts are well planned and organized. A separate committee was formed to look into these matters. In short, there are very few temples where so many music concerts are being conducted, that too in a very professional way.

The concerts are enjoyed by the public with great joy and pleasure. Hectic preparations are required for every music festival. The grand pandal, which is hired, is erected every time. The annual outflow on account of this is about Rs. 2.50 lacs. A proposal to construct a permanent auditorium is being presented.

The project

It is proposed to construct an auditorium at the site adjacent to the temple. The site measures about 8 grounds. Out of this 4.50 grounds has been acquired by the Trust. Steps to acquire the remaining land are progressing.

The auditorium can be used by the Trust for all its concerts and functions. The Trust can also consider hiring the auditorium to public. The projected cost of construction is given below:
